The UN Declaration of Human Rights (1948) states “...Whereas disregard and contempt for human rights have resulted in barbarous acts which have outraged the conscience of mankind... All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.”

In what I expect to be a controversial post, I want to share my disagreement and opposition to the celebrations of Osama Bin Laden’s death and the manner in which his body was disposed. To be clear, his intentions and acts caused harm in the world.  But, regardless of his profile/history/legacy, he was a human being. I believe its incumbent on us to act in a way that respects the fellowship of man. It’s a life and soul lost.
